Rebecca and Travis || One Year Wedding Anniversary
Styled One Year Anniversary Session with Fresh Flowers at Sunset in Rolling Hills of Mid-Missouri
Having Rebecca and Travis Miller in front of my camera for their first wedding anniversary portrait session was a delight and so much fun! I’ve known Rebecca for over a year now, connecting through the wedding industry, and when she approached me to photograph a portrait session for her and her husband I was elated. We immediately began dreaming up how we could subtly elevate and style their anniversary session, especially since Rebecca is a floral designer. When they pulled up to my family’s farm with a truck full of fresh floral blooms arranged by Rebecca herself, I knew this session was going to be perfect!
We battled curious calves at the beginning of their session and an unexpected rain shower towards the end, but a lovely golden sunset shone the brightest when it decided to grace this couple’s session. Travis and Rebecca have incredible chemistry; they were smiling and giggling and thoroughly having a fun time during their session. I love seeing young married couples still so in love well after their wedding day! Hosting their session on my family’s farm was a perfect setting for the pair because they love spending their free time on their own farm where they hope to build a home together one day. They are mutually interested in rooting on the Cardinals and the Chiefs (and luckily for them both teams seem to be doing really well this year!) and they love raising their Instagram-famous corgi, Berry (she’s a cutie patootie)! When I asked Rebecca and Travis what was one thing that they’ve learned about one another over the past year of marriage, they both paused and after a while they smiled, stating that they are still learning so much about one another and hope to always continue getting to know one another - how stinkin’ sweet!
Happy Anniversary Rebecca and Tyler!
