Winter Engagement at Old Shoe Factory
I met Victoria, Quintin, and their lovable adopted pup, Hank, next to the Missouri State Capitol in downtown Jefferson City for their urban-style engagement session. This year, the winter weather came early to Missouri, but we were blessed with a fairly warm day and sunny skies to document this important milestone. I will never forget the moment I met this sweet couple and their pup. As soon as Victoria rounded the street corner, Hank came running up to me and greeted me square on the lips with a big kiss! Talk about your first impression, haha!
“Quintin and I met about six years ago in Jefferson City through our mutual friends, and we’ve been dating ever since! He asked me to marry him in September of 2017 at The Barred Owl in Columbia right after I had finished a full week of stressful PA exams. I was completely surprised!” —Victoria (Y’all, Quintin did GOOD! Check out her gorgeous diamond!)
I could tell instantly at the beginning of their session that Victoria and Quintin like to have a lot of fun. They smiled at one another and laughed often throughout our time together (and would even crack up into giggles during the more intimate posing, which I thought was adorable).
Quintin showed me a new location for session in downtown Jefferson City that I had never seen before. He suggested that they end their session at the 1905 JCD Building, and I’m certainly glad that he did! My symmetry-lovin’ heart was in awe of this old factory! And Quitin and Victoria wore the perfect attire to model in front of the warehouse.
This sweet pair will be tying the knot on May 11th, 2019 in the chapel at Stephen’s College (where Victoria is currently studying to become a PA). I am so excited to get them back in front of my camera!
Congratulations Victoria and Quintin!
