Jessica and Tyler | A KKP Associate Wedding

Lovely Earth-Toned Wedding at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Tipton, MO.

Photographed by Hillary, a KKP associate wedding photographer!

Shortly before it was time to see his fiance walking down the aisle as a beautiful bride, Tyler’s father placed a solid black blindfold over his eyes. An unusual beginning of a story on a wedding day you might think, but hear me out. Tyler’s best men grabbed his hand and blindly led him to the large double doors of the church, where he stood and smiled as Jessica made her way around the corner. She laughed as she saw Tyler standing at the entrance, unaware of just exactly what she looked like in that moment. Jessica daintily pinned on his boutonniere and softly kissed him on the cheek; exchanging their final private moment together before they would become newlyweds.

When it was time for that grand moment where Jessica would walk down the aisle with her father, the double doors opened and all of their guests stood. She was all smiles as she glided effortlessly to the altar, hand in hand with with father. The magnitude of this moment couldn’t stop Tyler from shedding a tear as he was finally able to see his wife on their wedding day. Soon, sealed with a kiss, Tyler and Jessica became Mr. and Mrs.

Highlights

  • Tyler and Jessica planned for a fun twist on the traditional petal toss and evening grand exit when they walked out of the church and were greeted with a lovely and classy eucalyptus leaves toss and ended their wedding day with a fun and retro glow stick grand exit with all of their family and friends!

  • Because Jessica’s father’s combine was a huge part of their proposal story, it was only fitting that they brought it out for a fun photo opp with their bridal party and family (I know that had to make her daddy so proud!).

  • Those Tyler and Jessica didn’t “technically” have a first look moment (although they did have a sweet private moment before Jessica walked down the aisle as she pinned a boutonniere on her blindfolded groom), we created a wedding photography timeline that was optimal for bride and groom portraits between the ceremony and reception AND lovely sunset portraits outside of their venue before the main dances began!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Schepers! Bless your marriage!
