Alan and Heather Horn | A KKP Associate Wedding

Photographed by Rachel, our wonderful KKP associate!

She was standing under the pergola, gorgeous golden light filtering in around the stone pillars that surrounded them. She was finally in the white gown of her dreams; her mother adjusting her cathedral veil to a perfect position. Her father was standing just ahead, facing away. Heather gracefully walked up to her father and first man she ever loved and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned to face his little girl grown up, they were all tears and hugs and smiles. Her mother looked on at a distance, tearing up at this emotional father-daughter first look.

Soon later, Alan was waiting for his first look with the love of his life. He was holding the vows that he had written for her, trembling and fighting back tears. "Look At Me" by Carrie Underwood filled the air with melody and drifted in the breeze. In the same way as before, Heather quietly stepped along the path to where Alan stood. She tapped him on the shoulder. Tears fell down his face and a joyous smile could not be mistaken when he looked at Heather, his best friend, mother of his children, and soon to be wife. The pair took turns reading the vows that they had wrote for one another. Heather confessed that Alan was the man that she had always prayed to God for, and Alan admitted that Heather's beautiful baby blue eyes took his breath away from the first moment that he saw her.

This was the day that Alan and Heather vowed forever together.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Heather changed her last name on September 1st, 2018. It was a day full of love and celebration, with a bridal party confetti pop and a sparkler grand exit with a surprise firework show to end the evening.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Horn! Bless your marriage.
