"You made this night a thing divine." A favored quote delicately scrawled on a sign near the entry greeted guests as they arrive. When the music played, the bridal party descended one by one from the staircase. Laura's father escorted her from the stairs to the aisle as Chris smiled and looked on. Today was the day, as Chris' grandfather opened his Bible and led the ceremony, surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones, that these two high school sweethearts would exchange their vows and become husband and wife.

Chris and Laura designed a beautiful winter wedding at Market 116 in Buffalo, Missouri. The modern and industrial elements of the venue paired well with the intricate DIY decor that Laura incorporated. Much of the signage and calligraphy, as well as the bouquets, were done by the Bride herself! She is quite talented!

The Bride and Groom chose to have a first look moment before the ceremony. The brisk wind swirled around them, and when Chris turned around to see Laura, he erupted in a smile and held her close. It was everything intimate and magical.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Erxleben! I wish you both all the happiness in the world, and I hope you have a wonderful time on your honeymoon to Maui in the near future!
