Golden Sunset Engagement on Farm in Rolling Hills of Missouri
The wind blew gently around them as the sun set, and he held her in the place where they will soon build their home, their marriage, and their future together.
I spent a little time on Friday evening with Kent, Cheyenne, and their sweet pup, Rhett, for their winter engagement session. Though it was the middle of January, the weather was pleasant as the wind swept across the hills of their family farm. As I hopped in their truck to drive to the first location of their session, I got to know Kent and Cheyenne a little bit better. Growing up, they only lived about 25 minutes away from each other. They even attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, but it wasn't until after college that they met for the first time and have been inseparable ever since. They share a love of country music, and were actually heading to a concert that evening after their session.
The final location of their session was breathtaking, with rolling hills as far as the eye could see. Their chocolate lab, Rhett, joined in for a few portraits, and as you can tell he is just as sweet as can be. Cheyenne said that Rhett is quite a lovable pup, and I'd have to agree. As we were leaving, I asked Kent and Cheyenne where they would build their future together, and Kent replied, "Actually, we are planning to build a house right here."
They are tying the knot this November at The Mighty Oak Lodge in Lebanon, Missouri, and I am counting down the days. Enjoy your preview, Kent and Cheyenne!
