She loves old barns, for their aesthetic and history. There was an old barn in the valley ahead, so their friend drove them up the road to see it. The Wyoming landscape was beautiful as the tall green grass swayed in the breeze and sunlight escaped through the cracks in the wood of the picturesque barn. Mountains surrounded them. They were celebrating their three year anniversary on that day. As Sammy marveled in the sight, Jimmy got down on one knee. Sammy brought her hand to her mouth, completely in shock. And with his grandmother's ring, he asked her to marry him.
I just smiled as they told me their proposal story. Sammy excitedly showed me pictures from that sweet day. I enjoyed getting to know these two as they met me on my family's farm for their engagement session. It was like we had been friends for years. And though their engagement session was quite the adventure, well, that's a story for another time.
By the way, one of the images in this gallery is being published internationally...but I'll let you guess which one it is ;).
Enjoy your preview, Jimmy and Sammy...I am so excited for your wedding day!
