It all started at a Cody Johnson concert.
That's where I met Ian and Lauren for the first time. My husband and Ian work together, so I was excited to get to know Ian and Lauren both. She had the brightest smile on her face the entire evening, singing and dancing to the music. Ian couldn't help but beam when he was near her. I was shocked near the end of the concert as they hugged us bye and Ian asked me in a whisper, "Will you be our wedding photographer?" I looked over at Lauren's hand and noticed that she was not wearing a ring. I looked back at Ian and said, "You better hurry up and ask her!"
I guess he took my advice, because here we are! We met for Lauren and Ian's engagement session at Ian's uncle's bluff top Christmas Tree Farm. I was already in awe of the trees dotted along the hillside, but then Ian drove a red 1950's Willy's Jeep up the hill with their silver lab, Lexi, in the passenger seat, and I knew at that moment that this session was going to be epic.
I'm pretty sure we were all laughing during their entire session. Lauren and Ian truly are sweet as pie when they are together. I'm ready for their wedding next July all the more!
