"Photograph what inspires you."

A few weeks ago, a friend and I were blessed to attend The Hybrid Collective Conference in Provo, Utah. It was a conference specifically designed by and for artists that photograph both digitally and with film. With some of the top hybrid and film photographers in the United States leading this conference, I knew it was going to be epic.

From the very first day, this Missouri girl was blown away by the crisp, clean air and majestic, snow-capped mountains of Utah. The leaves on the trees were gloriously brilliant with color, and the rays of sun that peeked out over the mountain tops in the early morning were mesmerizing.

After a few days of intense learning, it was time to break away for a few inspirational styled shoots. I could have never imagined the styled shoot put together by Nashville Photographer Julie Paisley and designer Janna Brown; not in my wildest dreams. It was all ethereal and whimsy and fine art wrapped together perfectly with the most luxurious ribbon (quite literally; FrouFrou Chic knows what they are doing when it comes to ribbons!). And with professional hair and makeup by Natalia Issa, the finest jewelry by Susie Saltzman Fine Jewelry, and the most couture bridal gown by Emily Riggs Bridal, well, let's just say I was swooning.

So here it is, my collection of film portraits from the styled shoot in Utah. I will forever remember this shoot, for the rest of my life.

"This. Inspires. Me."
