“Kelsi is a true gem that shines the brightest with a camera in hand! First of all, neither my husband nor I are much for being the center of attention (but on your wedding day- you kind of have to be, right?!) but from day one, Kelsi helped us be completely comfortable and relaxed. The first time we met it was obvious that she cared about us as a couple and wanted to know what was important to the two of us. While planning our engagement session, we asked if incorporating our dogs and horses on a ranch scene was doable. She was all in! Leading up to our wedding day, Kelsi discussed the details with us a few times and it was clear I had no need to worry about her job getting done (what a blessing as a bride!). The day of our wedding, Kelsi was just as collected and confident as before. I was never stressed about what her and Blake were capturing because they seemed to be everywhere; subtly in the background, but never missing a moment! She had great ideas when the sunlight wasn’t cooperating or we needed help posing. We received our pictures super quickly after the wedding and were in awe. She was able to deliver photos of my wedding that I've been dreaming about since I was a little girl. Being someone in an artistic career myself, Kelsi captured everything perfectly! She did our engagement photos a few months before our wedding, and she delivered nothing but wonderful images for us to treasure for the rest of our lives. I opted to a do a bridal portrait session with Kelsi as well. Ladies, this is an absolute MUST during all of the wedding planning chaos. This is a perfect time to wear your dress before the big day, and have Kelsi focus on just you, the beautiful bride. She even did a few film shots in my bridal portrait session, talk about magical! She beyond talented behind the camera, she's also very personable, and makes you feel so at ease about everything. During our engagement session, my husband and I giggled the entire time! We were so comfortable working with Kelsi we were able to be our goofy giggly selves the whole time. During my bridal portrait session, I brought my mom along, and she was surprised how comfortable I was in front of the camera.
Then the wedding day was no different. Kelsi was just sooo wonderful to work with during the whole thing! She never let the chaos of the day get to her. She made me feel at ease as the bride, and everything went so smoothly. Then upon delivering the finished product of her work, we had our photos within a month of the big day! She captured our wedding day just like I had always imagined, and so much more!”
