What is “Authenticity?”

Authenticity Workshops are retreat-style educational and creative intensives for photographers who have an interest in specializing in wedding photography. Authenticity Workshops focus on building unique and sustainable businesses by fostering genuine relationships with community. Led by Kelsi Kliethermes of Kelsi Kliethermes Photography, Authenticity Workshops are the perfect blend of educational content through intimate-style classes and round table discussions and portfolio-building opportunities through elevated styled shoots designed by some of the best creative minds in the industry. Authenticity events are praised for being transparent, upscale, and “worth double the investment.” Unlike most photography workshops, Authenticity believes in ditching the vague and elusive tips and focusing on blessing your business with content that has been proven to push your career to becoming irresistible to ideal clients and add dollars to your bottom line.

 The Authenticity Workshop
October 1st, 2019
Wildcliff Weddings and Events

Overview:

The Fall Authenticity Workshop has been highly anticipated by photographers across the Midwest. With only 10 tickets available, this retreat-style workshop will remain intimate and truly focuses on each individual attendee. The morning will include concentrated curriculum at The Hollow (Wildcliff’s indoor venue) instructed by three guest speakers: Erin Stubblefield Weddings and Portraiture, Gillian Tracey Design, and Erica Martin with Pixel Jam Digital. Educational content at Authenticity Workshops are unlike any other photography workshop around because we truly believe in leaving everything on the table so you can leave the workshop refreshed and inspired; having the specific tools needed to grow your business to new heights. Class topics at the Authenticity Workshop this fall include: growing sustainable businesses, reaching the destination wedding market, email marketing, and crafting a heart-centered, growth-oriented brand for your business. The afternoon is where the creativity and portfolio building come in, as attendees will work alongside Kelsi and the creative team to photograph a never before seen styled shoot among the lakeside cliffs, evergreens, and golden, rolling hills of Wildcliff Weddings and Events. The creative team has been hard at work at designing a styled shoot for the fall workshop that hinges on abstract art and architecture, casual California vibes in a destination setting, and a soft, yet warm, color palette. Jaw dropping visuals from this styled shoot are sure to elevate your brand in a high class way. Catch a glimpse at the mood board and participating creative team below! This entire workshop package is wrapped up in the best way with an evening bonfire with new friends, dinner and cocktails in the open fields of Blackwater, MO., gourmet, locally-sourced family-style meals, and irresistible new content to refresh your brand in it’s new season.

Meet Your Workshop Leader & Educator

Kelsi Kliethermes, film wedding photographer in Missouri and Hawaii

Hi! I’m Kelsi, your McAlister’s half-cut tea-lovin’ old soul from Missouri (with a bit of an accent).

My husband, Blake, and I have built our wedding photography career centrally in Missouri, but travel frequently among the Midwest and beyond.

If we’re not busy photographing a wedding, you can find us in the kitchen cooking together, playing card games at the dining room table, planning for our sweet little daughter to join our family later this year, or rolling out our house plans to dream up designs for our soon-to-be new home on our farm.

I’ve been photographing weddings and engagements from the very beginning, becoming a full time photographer just one year after buying a camera that I was clueless about using. I’ve built a highly sought after and profitable career in wedding photography, consistently filling my calendar with dream couples one and a half years in advance!

Published with national and international photography publications like “Martha Stewart Weddings,” “The Knot,” “LOOKSLIKEFILM,” “Borrowed and Blue,” and “Sposi Magazine” in Italy, I’m excited to share all of my industry knowledge and expertise with you!

I can’t wait to meet you there!

 Lodging Considerations

Lodging is not included in the workshop ticket price, however their are two great hotels that we recommend if you need overnight accommodations! The first is The Iron Horse Hotel, located across the street from The Hollow (where morning classes and lunch will be held) and about a three minute commute to the venue. They have limited rooms available, so contact them as soon as you can if you would like to book a room. The second is the Hotel Frederick, located about a 25 minute commute from the venue in Boonville, MO.
